Advancing RF and Microwave Technologies Through Plasma Science—and Vice Versa

The Adaptive Radiofrequency and Plasma Laboratory (ARPL) at The University of Toledo explores electromagnetic–plasma interactions to develop adaptive, high-power, and multifunctional systems.

About ARPL

ARPL integrates applied electromagnetics, plasma physics, and engineered materials. Our work connects fundamental understanding of electromagnetic–plasma interactions with experimental RF and microwave technologies, from tunable components to electrically small antennas and high-power devices.
