Adaptive RF systems
Antennas, matching networks, and reconfigurable electronics
Bring your curiosity, analytical skills, and enthusiasm for hands-on research to ARPL.
We welcome inquiries from prospective M.S. and Ph.D. students interested in electromagnetics, RF and microwave engineering, antennas, plasma physics, or related fields. Relevant analytical, simulation, circuit-design, and experimental experience is valuable.
Research openings and funding depend on project needs and availability. Contacting the PI does not replace the university admission process.
UToledo undergraduate students interested in experimental research are encouraged to get in touch. Potential activities include simulation, prototype fabrication, RF measurements, plasma experiments, and data analysis under appropriate supervision.
In your message, include your major, year of study, relevant coursework or projects, and the time you can commit to research.
ARPL welcomes discussions that connect complementary expertise with a clear scientific question or technical need.
Antennas, matching networks, and reconfigurable electronics
Plasma switching, limiting, and frequency-selective protection
Efficient sources and plasma–EM–material interactions
Please describe the technical challenge, your organization or research group, and the expertise or facilities you would like to contribute.
